Q: How do I get the data into the ERGOMETRICS dashboard?

A: There are two methods of entering data:

1. By using the data entry feature which is simplicity itself and requires only the typing of the key performance data either by dashboard, gauge or metric. Simply click on the ENTRY Icon and follow the help instructions.
   
2. By using the IMPORT feature Simply click on the IMPORT Icon and follow the help instructions. IMPORT accepts a 'CVS' sting which is formatted for you and requires that you simply select the key metrics from your source file. An EXPORT facility is also provided so that external databases and spreadsheets can be populated.

Q: What are the three needles telling me?

A: These are periodic performance indicators for:

• Performance in current period (black in the initial setup);
• Performance in immediately previous period to current. Current minus 1 (Dark grey Initially).
• Performance in previous period to immediate previous period. Current minus 2 (light grey initially).

Q: Do the Needles have to be black and grey?

A: No, you can configure the needles to whatever colour you want. Follow the instructions in the online help manual.

Q: Do I have to use 3 needles?

A: No. You can configure the gauges and dashboard to have 1, 2 or 3 needles.

Q: How many gauges do I need?

A: This depends upon what KPI's you wish to monitor and report. Remember that gauges can be re-used as business conditions or performance criteria changes. The minimum entry point is 25 gauges.

Q: How do I print, or export Dashboard graphics to a presentation program?

A: With the Dashboard Viewer open, click the right mouse button and select 'copy to clipboard'. From here you can use the 'paste' command in your usual presentation or word processing program. This feature also allows you to print dashboards.

Q: Can I upgrade to more gauges?

A:Yes. ERGOMETRICS will deduct your original investment from the price of the upgrade level and bill the balance.

Q:Can I use ERGOMETRICS on a network?

A: No problem. Set paths to viewer. There is no limit to the number of viewers you can use. Not only that, but, ERGOMETRICS is fully Intranet, Extranet and Internet capable.
