The
ERGOMETRICS Metrics Manager:
The
Metrics Manager is used for creating and managing metrics:
Metric
Contexts can be defined as Primary (template), Secondary (copy) or Unary
(stand-alone)
Displays
within context the structure of metrics
Direct metrics - single lowest level metrics
Consolidated

Ratio metrics -
Lists
the numerator and denominator used to create the high-level ratio metric
Allows
the entry of Metric Purpose Information
Allows
metrics to be linked to periods - a metric may have any time period.
Allows
metrics to be linked to performance types
Higher - where high value performance is preferred
Lower
- where low value performance is preferred
Balance
- where target value performance is preferred
Allows
the linking of Performance Owners and Integrity Owners to metrics - Performance
Owners are those who own the process that creates the Metric Value
Integrity
Owners are those who are responsible for the timely and accurate entry
of Metric Values into the system
Allows
the linking of an Action Set to a metric - an Action Set is a defined
set of actions for given Current Performance and Trend combinations.
When
a Secondary context is used all metrics in the Primary context are copied.
