ERGOMETRICS
The
Target Tab
With
the “Target tab” ERGOMETRICS
users link fixed or variable targets to the “Target Tab” on the gauge
and track performance within performance boundaries and also against the
precise target.
With
the ability to pre-load metric values using the Import function, these
can be linked to the “Target Tab” on any gauge, this means that performance
can be tracked against the variable target.
A fixed
target can also be set when designing the gauge so that only one entry
needs to be made for that type of target tracking.
The
“Target Tab” can be colored as required.
To get
the best from this feature ERGOMETRICS
users should locate the target within the green sector of the gauge. This
means knowing what each period’s target will be during the design phase
and setting the beginning of green sector at slight less than the minimum
target value and the end of the green sector at slightly more than the
maximum target value. The “Target Tab” will be positioned exactly where
it has been set for the viewed period.
Sample
showing “Under Target”, “On Target” and “Over Target”. The target for
this gauge is variable and has been set by linking to a metric. Two metrics
have been used “Budget Target” and “Budget Actual” – the gauge reports
“Budget Actual” and tracks this against the variable “Budget Target”.
